For more than 130 years, Stoughton Co-Operative Bank has been proud to be the banking home for people and businesses in Stoughton and surrounding communities.
Our History
Founded by a group of Stoughton businessmen in March of 1886, Stoughton Co-Operative Bank is a mutual co-operative banking institution owned by our members. We first opened our doors on Freeman Street, and in December of 1952, opened a branch at 20 Park Street, the former site of the Chicataubut Club. Eventually in 1989, we opened our main office at 950 Park Street.
Much has changed since then. Today, we have a full line of personal and business banking services. We’ve also stayed true to the mission on which we were founded: to provide high-value financial services.
Every day, we’re proud to build on that mission and to continue to make sound financial decisions to ensure we are here for the individuals, families, and businesses who depend on us. We are dedicated to giving back to support our hometown community in a variety of ways – from sponsorships of local events to charitable donations.
It’s time to see how far your hometown bank will go for you.
